We are extremely fortunate to have a fabulous school library at the heart of our school.  All children, from EYFS to Year 6, access the library weekly.  Children use their library sessions to choose books, read with their peers and participate in reading activities.  Some of our Year 6 children are our nominated school librarians and have the very important responsibility of supporting adults in organising our library.

Some of our Year 6 children are participating in the FBA competition.  The Fantastic Book Awards (FBA) inspires reading for children aged nine to eleven years.  FBA is an exciting opportunity for children to meet, discuss and share views about their reading in an informal way, and vote for one of the five books they consider to be an FBA Winner.

Our FBA club: Musa Asam, Eesa Madani, Azhaan Hussain, Zahra Fatima, Matthew Chen, Fehzaan Afzal, Malaika Mumtaz and Jannat Nazir.

Children are reading and voting on the following books:

It was an extremely enjoyable event for everyone.
